Welcome to the home of the International Flightsim Design Group. We are dedicated to producing quality freeware products for Microsoft's Flight Simulator. iFDG is privileged to have talented members from all over the world and you can find more information regarding our modellers, painters, and administrators from the members section of the site. You can find a wide selection of our aircraft in liveries of all the worlds major airlines on the downloads page. We would also like to take this opportunity to invite you to participate in our active Forum where among other things you can find previews of our upcoming releases.
1. All existing liveries should work with these new models 2. The wing flex is based on the old method, linked to gear compression. Lift based wingflex is not possible with the aircraft design tool I am using (FSDS 2.0). Hopefully Abacus is working on an update. 3. The Navigation lights are now modeled, but the strobe lights are still FX files. 4. DO NOT APPLY TEXTURE FIXES UNLESS YOUR AIRCRAFT NEEDS THEM! They are not improved in any way over the original textures. 5. PSS COMPATIBILITY - For any merge of the A32X aircraft models with the PSS panel to work properly, your aircraft.cfg must include the engine type in the title= line of the [flight.x] section
NOTE TO PAINTERS
Please attempt to make sure you have included the latest MDL files and FDE updates with your newly released repaints.
New models, and some texture changes and please read the enclosed Readme file to make sure you do everything right...
Be warned, If you ask questions or post problems about this update which can be answered / solved by simply reading that piece of text you will be either ignored, or (mildly) swore at
You will also notice that the P&W download section has been removed, these liveries will now be uploaded to AVSIM and be available for all, the paintkit will also be re-uploaded to reflect the texture changes and will also include the P&W textures that were not included in the original release.
